In collaboration with the State Key Laboratory of Bioreactor Engineering at East China University of Science and Technology, Zena has developed the FNIII8-10 fragment as the core sequence through biosynthetic technology. This sequence stably binds to integrin receptors on cell membranes, exerting growth factor-like activity. Zena has also developed a unique small-molecule polysaccharide as an excipient for fibronectin lyophilization, overcoming the pilling issue commonly associated with mannitol-based excipients. Additionally, the barrier-repairing and endogenous moisturizing properties of the small-molecule polysaccharide synergize with fibronectin to enhance skin feel. Tests confirm that Zena Fibronectin Lyophilized Powder delivers 20 times the efficacy of EGF at equivalent application costs.
