Product Description
The patented small-molecule oat β-glucan has a molecular weight below 60 kDa, ensuring excellent skin permeability. It enhances endogenous moisturization by promoting caspase‑14 and FLG expression in HaCaT cells, stimulating natural moisturizing factor (NMF) production. Additionally, oat β-glucan supports normal keratinocyte differentiation, modulates calcium ion signaling pathways, and accelerates barrier recovery, offering holistic, multi-dimensional skin protection from the inside out.

● The primary endogenous source of NMF
● Human epidermal granular layer keratinocytes first express the FLG precursor profilaggrin, which is phosphorylated to form insoluble polymers stored in keratohyalin granules.
● As keratinocytes differentiate into corneocytes, profilaggrin is dephosphorylated and degraded into soluble FLG.
● In the innermost 2–3 layers of the newly formed stratum corneum, FLG can account for over 25% of the total protein in corneocytes.
● As corneocytes mature, FLG is further broken down to generate large quantities of Natural Moisturizing Factors (NMF).
