Product Description
Purslane is a common edible-medicinal plant often used in traditional practices to treat insect bites and diarrhea. Figwort Root, also known as Ningpo Figwort, is derived from its rhizome, characterized by a black color and bitter taste, and is widely used for treating abscesses and sores. Studies have revealed a synergistic effect between Purslane and Figwort Root. Their combination significantly inhibits the expression of TRPV1, IL-1α, IL-6, and IL-8, and also markedly suppresses histamine release from mast cells.
Human efficacy tests confirm its ability to reduce capsaicin-induced irritation and alleviate skin redness and itching caused by histamine, demonstrating significant soothing effects. The formulation has been granted an invention patent (Patent No.: ZL 202510158227.7).
